VIH TESTS

The rapid self-tests VIH/ VIH AIDS, are European certified and demonstrate results within just 15 minutes, with 99.8% accuracy.

They are the same as the tests used in a doctor's office and can be used with complete confidence.

HOW TO TEST


In the comfort of your own home and in complete privacy, testing is done in just 6 simple steps:

    1. Open the test package;
    2. Use the safety needle to make a small hole in the finger;
    3. Clean the first drop of blood and wait for the second drop;
    4. Touch the edge of the test tube to the drop of blood and collect;
    5. Place the edge of the test tube firmly, inside the reagent, and keep it vertical for 15 minutes;
    6. Confirm the result.

RESULTS


In just 15 minutes you can confirm the results.

•     1 Line - Negative;
•     2 Lines - Positive;
•     No lines: You must repeat the test or check that the edge is well placed in the reagent.

If your test is positive, the result must be confirmed by your doctor, in the laboratory.

•     NEGATIVE TESTS have an accuracy of 99.9%. Which means that for every 1000 Tests, there may be a wrong result.
•     POSITIVE TESTS, have an accuracy of 99.7%. Which means that for every 1000 tests, there may be 3 false positives.

WARNINGS
The tests only work if you have been infected for more than 3 months, which is the time needed for the virus to multiply in sufficient quantity to be detected.

Provided that they are detected early, with proper care and medication, people infected with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus can have a normal average life expectancy.
